HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year starter as a shortstop for Mike Harper at South Fork High School...earned the school's career .300 Batting Average Award...as a senior, he was named Playstation National All-America and first team all-area after batting .331 with three home runs, eight doubles, three triples and 20 RBI...as a junior, he ranked No. 98 in the Top 350 National High School Players list and garnered second team all-area accolades after hitting .362, with three home runs, nine doubles five triples and 28 RBI...as a sophomore, he earned honorable mention all-area honors after batting .324 with a home run, five doubles and two triples with 20 RBI...as a freshman, he served as the lead-off hitter and starting shortstop for the varsity squad...batted .310 with a home run, five doubles, two triples and 15 RBI...named to the honor roll all four years...also a member of the National Honors Society...drafted by the New York Mets in the 36th round of the MLB Draft.
