PRIOR TO JU: Two-year starter as a catcher and first baseman for Indian River Community College...as a sophomore, he earned second team all-conference honors after batting .383 with seven home runs and 29 RBI...as a freshman, he batted .303 with four home runs, nine doubles and 32 RBI while throwing out 12-of-16 base runners...named to the Dean's List each year.
